David Righeschi was born in Montevarchi, and gave his debut as the Duke of Mantova in Verdi's "Rigoletto" in 2001 together with his teacher, the famous Paolo Washington. Sang as a soloist in Verdi's "Messa da Requiem" in 2002, Rodolfo in Puccini's "La Boheme" at the Opera Houses in Cesena, Mantova, Bologna, Firenze, Lucca e Lignano, the Duke of Mantua in Verdi's "Rigoletto" in Milano, Bologna and Pesaro, Cavaradossi in Puccini's "Tosca" and Rinuccio in "Gianni Schichi" in 2003 in Florence, 2004 in "Il Viaggio a Reims" by Rossini, 2005 in "Boris Godunof" and since 2006 at the "Puccini Festival in Luca".
